As a Trading Services Associate ll within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform. Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Your decisions will contribute and impact on short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities, contributing to the overall success of our trading services. 

Job responsibilities
  • Partner with Credit and Rates Sales/Trading desks to deliver real-time Middle Office support across the trading day and global time zones.
  • Escalate and resolve complex trade queries, booking issues, lifecycle events, and client service requests with urgency and transparency.
  • Align stakeholders across regions to ensure consistent service delivery and prioritization against desk needs.
  • Oversee end-to-end product support across trade capture/booking, allocations, confirmations coordination, lifecycle management, and exception resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely capture of trade economics and attributes while identifying and closing booking/control gaps.
  • Run daily controls and exception queues to reduce breaks, fails, and aged items through prompt escalation and root-cause closure.
  • Embed operational risk discipline by enforcing policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations for front office–aligned trade support.
  • Own key controls, reconciliations, and governance routines while maintaining audit-ready documentation and evidence.
  • Drive remediation of operational risk events, issues, and audit findings and support internal and external reviews.
  • Lead a Mumbai-based team to provide global coverage through robust shift planning, handoffs, coaching, and talent development.
  • Improve scalability and resilience by defining and tracking KPIs/KRIs, delivering senior reporting, and advancing automation, control enhancements, and change initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Significant experience in front office–aligned Middle Office / trade support for Fixed Income, with strong exposure to Credit and/or Rates products.
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Strong working knowledge of the trade lifecycle and associated controls (booking, allocations, confirmations, lifecycle events, exception management).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, drive issues to closure, and operate effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance partners across regions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide concise, executive-ready updates.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Experience supporting global desks and multi-time-zone coverage models, including structured handoffs and service governance.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls testing/attestation, and audit/regulatory engagement.
  • Track record of delivering process improvements/automation and partnering effectively with Technology (requirements, UAT, rollout, post-implementation stabilization).
  • Product breadth across Credit and Rates, including familiarity with lifecycle events and documentation/confirmation workflows (scope dependent on desk).
