As one of NZ Safety Blackwoods' flagship Trade Centres, our Penrose location plays a key role in supporting customers across Auckland. With a broad product offering, a diverse customer base and a fast-paced environment, this is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of industries while developing your skills with a market leader.

Our Penrose team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong, long-term relationships with our customers. We're looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

This is a part-time role working Saturdays 8:30am – 2:30pm (5.5 hours per week).

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and being part of a trade-focused environment.

This isn't your standard sales role! It's varied, hands-on and rewarding, with a mix of customer service, sales, store operations, stock management and some manual handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers entering the Trade Centre.
• Understand customer requirements and provide solutions from our extensive product range.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that drives repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Assist with maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock and maintain appropriate stock rotation.
• Contribute to a positive, safe and productive team environment.
