Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join Bolton Romania.

How you make the difference

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand growth and category performance by translating marketing and commercial strategies into strategic long and short-term 4Ps objectives and impactful in-store execution.

This role acts as a strategic bridge between Marketing, Sales, Supply teams, driving customer-centric strong product availability, visibility, activation plans and promotional mechanics, monitoring performance and optimizing investment, that maximize sell-out, enhance shopper experience, and deliver sustainable growth across modern trade, traditional trade, e-commerce and proximity channels.

How your agenda looks like:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies by channel (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Proximity, E-commerce.
  • Define visibility standards, planograms, shelving principles, and merchandising guidelines.
  • Translate brand strategies into trade activation plans, promotional mechanics, and POS execution.
  • Lead annual and quarterly promotional planning with Sales and Key Account teams.
  • Manage POSM development, deployment, and compliance
  • Support new product launches with tailored trade plans and execution toolkits
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, promotion effectiveness, and in-store KPIs
  • Analyze shopper insights, market trends, and competitor activity to optimize activation.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to ensure availability and forecast accuracy.

Your team:

You will report to the Country Manager Romania and collaborate closely with:

  • Local teams: Sales, Marketing, Demand Planner.
  • External agencies: creative, ATL.

What makes you great fit:

  • 3 + years of experience in similar trade marketing roles.
  • Hands-on mindset, strong planning capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellence, great understanding of FMCG dynamics, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills combined with very strong people’s agility.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment
  • Fluent in Romanian and English (Italian is a nice to have)
