As the strategic bridge between Marketing and Sales, the Trade Marketing Manager CZ/SK drives the commercial transformation of our brand strategies into winning channel executions. This leader ensures that our Trade Marketing Strategy is realized across both On-Trade and Off-Trade environments, maximizing brand equity and market share through expert team leadership and data-driven category insights.

Meaningful Work From Day One

You will lead the Trade Marketing department for the Czech and Slovak markets, overseeing the end-to-end commercial activation strategy. Your role is to harmonize brand ambitions with channel realities, ensuring that the team delivers compelling point-of-purchase (POP) activities that convert shoppers into buyers and consumers into brand advocates. You will be a key voice in the Senior Leadership discussions, providing channel expertise to shape long-term growth.

What You Can Expect

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 directs (+2 indirects), with direct management of the On-Trade and Off-Trade Managers. Foster a high-performance culture focused on execution excellence and career growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the annual Trade Marketing planning process (S&BP) for both CZ and SK. Ensure channel strategies are aligned with Brown-Forman’s long-term brand-building and profit growth goals.

  • The "Bridge" Role: Act as the primary liaison between the Marketing (Brand) teams and the Sales (KAM/Field) teams to ensure commercial feasibility and alignment of all initiatives.

  • Omni-Channel Oversight: Drive a holistic view of the market, ensuring synergy between Off-Trade (IKA, Traditional Trade) and On-Trade (HoReCa) strategies.

  • Budget & P&L Accountability: Oversee the total Trade Marketing A&P and Discount budgets. Ensure optimal resource allocation, ROI tracking, and alignment with Finance on accounting management.

  • Market Insight & Course Correction: Utilize data (Nielsen, Focus, etc.) to stay ahead of competitor activities and business performance. Recommend and implement strategic pivots when necessary.

  • Stakeholder Management: Influence internal stakeholders at a high level and represent the Trade Marketing function in key regional meetings and business reviews.

  • External Partner Management: Oversee strategic relationships with key creative, digital, and merchandising agencies to ensure top-tier execution and cost efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Min. Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Management, Business Administration

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Brand Management/ Trade Marketing / Commercial with proven track record in FMCG or luxury goods

  • Demonstrated strong business acumen & entrepreneurial thinking with strategic mindset and envisioning

  • Demonstrated sound analytical skills with proven track record of identifying key insights and ability to translate findings of analysis into conclusions & strategies

  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and strong ability to proactively engage stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience managing managers; ability to lead through others and manage a complex, multi-channel team structure.

  • Demonstrated accurate self insight combined with a strong agility/ability to adapt to and support change with strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated strong prioritizations skills with proven track record to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a high standard for execution detail.

  • Fluent English and Czech or Slovak
