Job Description

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager for Brazil to drive strategic planning and coordination of materials and events for all Amazon MGM theatrical releases in the territory. This position will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans and oversee the implementation and execution together with the Sales and Marketing teams, supporting them on every exhibitor needs, such as POS materials in theatres, strategic trailers placement, promotional opportunities and all matters related to a daily relationship with exhibitors. Developing strategic marketing plans and oversee operating budgets, as well as supporting the top level management regarding to media agencies (promotions, materials, gifts, online & offline), providing strategic alignment between publicity, promotions and media areas, keeping our Regional and HO always up to date with the local developments in the area.

Key job responsibilities
• Direct interface with all the Marketing Directors of the exhibitors for closing shares, planning and investment negotiation;
• Execution and strategy planning with MKT, Media, Promotions and Publicity;
• Studies and analyses with the Media and Sales;
• Interface with Exhibitors, including the agencies Flix Media, Pre-Show and Ingresso.com;
• Development and delivery of POS materials and concession negotiation;
• Local partnerships: strategies, pitch, negotiations and implementation (3rd Party, Agencies and Malls)
• Contact with Prime team for differentiated promotions and actions;
• Responsible for all POS material in cinemas: creation, purchase, production and distribution
• Responsible for the purchase and reservation of special material in theatres/malls;
• Negotiation and execution of media plans off and on with exhibitors (investment / partnership);
• Total Management of the Exhibitor portal (trade partner);
• Development of big ideas and actions with exhibitors, shopping malls and partners;
• Weekly trailer schedule;
• Budget control of the area; Alignment with MKT, PR, Sales, CPG, Promotion and Creative;
• Organization and execution of the CCXP event's internal panel and stand (stand, suppliers, assembly, execution, gifts, etc.);
• Contact agencies: RG, EZ and Social Tailors; Coordination of trade agency and teams;

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree on marketing, advertising, events and business
- 5+ years of experience in theatrical mktg distribution, or administrative positions in the entertainment industry
- A high-profile Marketing background, with emphasis in the Trade Marketing area,
- Knowledge and experience in main media KPI’s and marketing/media planning tools such Google Analytics, Social Bakers, Rentrak and others.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese (required)
- Proven experience managing P&L and financial planning processes

- Strong negotiating power with partners and exhibitors, able to influence whilst facilitates dialogue
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives
- Used to work in complex business environment; dynamic and resilient.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of media, promotions and events planning and execution
- Accountability for the whole process, from planning to post-mortem analysis with a high level of teamwork spirit.
- Advanced analytical capabilities with executive-level presentation skills
- Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting
- Strong negotiating skills with partners and exhibitors, with proven ability to influence while facilitating constructive dialogue
- Proactive mindset with effective communication skills and ability to learn quickly
- Deep understanding of Brazilian theatrical exhibition market dynamics
- Knowledge of international distribution practices and standards
- Understanding of competitive landscape and market trends
