Altra Running is looking for an exceptional Specialist, Trade Marketing to join our Marketing team based in Stabio, Switzerland with a 1 year fixed term contract.

At Altra, we believe that exceptional product deserves exceptional presentation. As our Trade & Retail Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for bringing the Altra brand to life across our wholesale partner network throughout EMEA.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, ensuring that our retailers have the tools, support and activation plans needed to drive awareness, consideration and sell-through at the point of purchase.

You will lead the planning and execution of trade marketing investments, collaborate with regional sales teams to identify opportunities, and work closely with global and agency partners to develop best-in-class retail marketing assets.

A key focus of this role will be elevating Altra's presence in-store and online.

From shop-in-shops and window campaigns to retailer web banners, product launches and seasonal toolkits, you will help ensure every consumer touchpoint reflects the strength of the Altra brand.

How You Will Make a Difference

Trade Marketing Planning & Investment

• Manage Altra's EMEA trade marketing budget and investment plans.
• Partner with regional sales teams to allocate resources across key markets, retailers and growth opportunities.
• Directly manage the marketing activities with selected key accounts.
• Develop retailer activation plans that support both sell-in and sell-through objectives.
• Track performance and ensure trade marketing investment delivers measurable business impact.

Retail Marketing Toolkit Development

• Lead the development and deployment of Altra's retail marketing toolkit across EMEA & Distributor partners.
• Collaborate with Global Marketing teams to adapt global assets for regional needs.
• Work with agency and production partners to develop best-in-class retail marketing solutions.
• Manage retail assets including windows, POS, shop-in-shops, retailer digital content, web banners and launch toolkits.
• Continuously elevate Altra's in-store and online brand presentation.

Retail Execution & Education

• Support the execution of retail marketing activities across wholesale and owned retail environments.
• Develop retailer education and sales support materials in partnership with the Tech Rep team.

Skills for Success

• Strong understanding of wholesale retail environments and the role trade marketing plays in driving sell-through.
• Deep knowledge of retail marketing best practices, shopper marketing principles and point-of-sale activation.
• Experience developing retail marketing toolkits for both physical and digital retail channels.
• Understanding of visual merchandising principles and how brand presentation influences shopper behaviour.
• Ability to build compelling retailer activation plans that align marketing investment with commercial objectives.
• Strong understanding of retailer marketing channels including POS, windows, shop-in-shops, retailer websites, digital banners and sales support materials.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple markets, retailers and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong budget management and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify optimisation opportunities.
