You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)
  • Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisions
  • Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks
  • Suggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale
  • Follows up the competition’s commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brand
  • Plays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targets

What you need to know about this position:

  • Scope: export Libya, Sudan & Palestine + opportunistic
  • Lead the development and execution of revenue growth strategies across all products, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market dynamics.
  • Oversee pricing architecture and analyze price elasticity across different segments (e.g., premium, value, health-focused) to maximize both volume and profitability.
  • Drive the annual planning process, including revenue and volume targets, by collaborating with Category, Channel, Sales, and Finance teams.
  • Own the monthly forecasting process across all categories, leveraging market intelligence and cross-functional inputs.
  • Evaluate and design promotional strategies and trade investment plans, ensuring optimal ROI and shopper impact across Modern and Traditional Trade channels.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to optimize SKU availability during high-demand periods and seasonal peaks.
  • Define and lead the Perfect Store for different channels /countries embedding shopper behavior, brand priorities, and customer realities.
  • Translate strategy into execution guidelines (e.g., visibility, assortment, pricing, and online content standards).
  • Co-lead JBP development with key customers to embed Perfect Store plans in commercial agreements.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Category, Brand, Revenue Growth, and Digital teams.
  • Lead measurement and governance of Perfect Store KPIs via market audits, digital shelf tools, and performance dashboards.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or related field

Job specific requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in revenue growth management, commercial strategy, trade marketing, or category planning in the FMCG/CPG industry.
  • Proven track record of leading category-level and cross-category revenue strategies.
  • Expertise in pricing, promo ROI analysis, trade spend optimization, and P&L management.
  • Strong experience in forecasting, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Proven leadership in designing and scaling Perfect Store or in-store excellence programs
  • Strong understanding of retail environments, shopper behavior, and e-commerce platforms
  • Analytical, collaborative, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders
