Job Description


Locations:

Kisumu, Eldoret, Kisii, Narok

Reports To:

Sales Executive


Role Purpose


To drive sales growth by executing trade marketing strategies, building outlet networks, managing product distribution, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role is key in expanding market coverage, increasing brand visibility, and strengthening trade relationships for the company's alcoholic beverage portfolio.


Key Responsibilities


  • Service existing outlets, secure new listings, and generate sales orders. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to visit existing or potential sales outlets.

  • Execute trade marketing activities including activations, merchandising, and POS placement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.

  • Expand outlet coverage in assigned territory (HORECA and general trade).

  • Monitor competition by gathering insights on pricing, promotions, and visibility.

  • Report sales activities and market insights daily via the company’s sales reporting app.

  • Drive achievement of sales targets and volume growth for the assigned region.

  • Represent the company professionally and ethically in all trade engagements.


Requirements


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • At least 1–3 years’ experience in FMCG or alcoholic beverage sales.

  • Strong skills in negotiation, relationship building, and territory management.

  • Understanding of route-to-market models and knowledge of HORECA outlets preferred.

  • Target-driven, resilient

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
