We are seeking a Trade & Customs Manager – EMEA to join our team in Poland. In this role, you will ensure compliant import and export operations across the EMEA region while enabling efficient and uninterrupted business execution.

You will partner closely with operations, leadership, and external authorities to implement and monitor regional trade compliance strategies aligned with EU regulations and local customs laws. This role plays a key part in reducing risk exposure, supporting supply chain continuity, and enabling future business growth across the region.

You will be part of the EMEA Trade & Customs organisation, supporting a dynamic manufacturing and supply chain network. The team partners closely with operations, logistics, and compliance stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant trade execution while enabling business growth. You will collaborate across countries and functions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and strong compliance stewardship.


What You Will Do

  • Support and execute the EMEA customs compliance and audit programme, ensuring ongoing audit readiness
  • Manage customs audits, post‑clearance reviews, and authority inquiries in coordination with senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with EU and local customs regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, origin, and export controls
  • Maintain and monitor internal controls, including periodic compliance checks and self‑assessments
  • Support management of customs authorisations (e.g., AEO, bonded warehouses, special procedures)
  • Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective and preventative actions to reduce risk
  • Oversee daily customs compliance activities across EMEA, ensuring consistent and accurate execution
  • Provide guidance to customs teams and operational stakeholders on complex customs matters
  • Monitor customs brokers and service providers to ensure compliance and performance standards
  • Ensure proper control and reconciliation of bonded warehouse inventory
  • Develop and track KPIs and compliance metrics to monitor performance and risk exposure
  • Support implementation of the regional trade compliance strategy aligned with global objectives
  • Identify and assess trade compliance risks and drive mitigation actions
  • Monitor regulatory changes across EMEA and evaluate operational impact
  • Contribute to duty optimisation initiatives, including FTAs and special customs regimes
  • Provide input on compliance implications for new business initiatives and evolving supply chain flows
  • Act as a key point of contact for customs authorities at an operational level
  • Support engagement with external partners, including brokers and trade associations


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in customs and international trade compliance, including exposure to audits and regulatory engagement
  • Knowledge of EU customs regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, origin, and customs procedures
  • Experience interacting with customs authorities and managing compliance‑related audits
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders and external authorities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a regional environment
  • Fluency in English
