NHS Trade have an opportunity for someone to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales team member at our Beresfield branch.

About The Role

The Trade Counter Sales role is the face of the NHS business when customers enter the premises.

The role is responsible for ensuring informed and quality product advice is provided, while delivering industry‑leading customer service and maximising sales opportunities that meet NHS customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing customers with informed and quality product advice.
  • Ensuring transactions are efficient and accurate at Point‑of‑Sale (POS).
  • Delivering a high level of customer service with every interaction.
  • Assisting customers with loading their products.
  • Creating and coordinating customer Special Orders.
  • Assisting with re‑stocking and merchandising.
  • Participating in cycle counts and stocktakes.
  • Participating in regular product training.

About You

You are a reliable and motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven punctuality and reliability.
  • A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Be physically fit (as frequent and repetitive lifting and carrying is an inherent requirement of this role).
  • A current NSW Driver Licence (Provisional or above).
  • Availability to work full‑time hours across NHS trading hours.
