Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics company,operatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may berequired, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Trade Compliance Analyst, APAC supports regional trade compliance activities to ensure adherence to import/export regulations, customs requirements, and internal trade policies across Asia‑Pacific markets. This role contributes to compliant and efficient cross‑border operations, supports supply chain continuity, and helps mitigate regulatory risk in a highly regulated environment. The position offers hands‑on exposure to regional trade compliance operations and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support APAC trade compliance activities in alignment with global trade policies and regional regulatory requirements.

  • Review, prepare, andmaintainaccuratetrade and customs documentation to support import and export transactions.

  • Monitor compliance with customs regulations, trade controls, and internal procedures across APAC markets.

  • Partner withlogisticsproviders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve trade‑related issues.

  • Assistwith classification, valuation, country of origin, and other trade data requirements.

  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries related to trade activities.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords and data within trade compliance and ERP systems.

  • Analyze trade data andidentifytrends, risks, or opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, Finance, ora relatedfield (required).

  • Professional coursework or certification in trade compliance or customs (preferred).

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, customs, or a related role.

  • Working knowledge of APAC import/export regulations and customs requirements.

  • Experience reviewing trade documentation and supporting compliant cross‑border transactions.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.

  • Proficiencywith ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with Singapore and broader APAC trade regulations.

  • Experience supporting audits or compliance investigations.

  • Exposure to global trade management orcustomssoftware.

  • Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.

Other:

  • Language: Englishproficiencyrequired;additionalAPAC languages preferred.

  • Travel: Minimal; occasional regional travel may berequired

  • Certifications: Trade compliance, customs, orlogisticscertificationspreferred.
