This role combines hands on compliance execution with analytical oversight to validate import transactions, monitor compliance data, and identify improvement opportunities. The Analyst works closely with Customs Brokers, internal business partners, and Trade Compliance leadership to manage trade programs, post‑entry activity, reporting, and data integrity, supporting a controlled and auditable import environment.

  • Oversee Customs Broker entry activity, including entry validation, post‑entry reviews (PSC/PEA), Assist declarations, USMCA claims, annual value reconciliation, and corrective actions in support of audit readiness.
  • Maintain import records in accordance with regulatory recordkeeping requirements and support audit readiness through documentation review, data validation, and corrective action tracking
  • Analyze and reconcile ACE reports and other import compliance data to identify trends, recurring errors, or control gaps and recommend process or control improvements.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex or high‑risk classification, origin, regulatory, or systemic compliance issues.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather required information and support compliant import and export activity.
  • Follow established trade compliance policies, procedures, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Perform other trade compliance‑related duties, projects, and analyses as needed to support business and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in import trade compliance, customs operations, or trade compliance analysis.
  • Proven experience in HTS, COO determinations, trade remedy programs, and postentry activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariffs, valuation, broker entry processes, and audits.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Familiarity with QAD and/or SAP preferred but not required.
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or trade compliance certifications (CCS, CES, CTCS), preferred but not required.
