Job Description

We’re looking for a couple of experienced electrical apprentices and tradies with a background in roofing and/or solar panel installation to join our residential installation team ASAP! You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Have prior experience in the solar industry (preferred but not essential)
• Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
• Have a Working at Heights certification and ideally a White Card
• Have an EWP ticket (a bonus, but not required)
• Have a strong base of trade skills, particularly in roofing (tile, tin, etc.), and are open to learning new tech and processes
• Are professional but down-to-earth, with a good sense of humour and team spirit
• Are open to occasional travel for project work

About the Role

As a Solar Roofer / Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that support end-to-end solar and battery system installations for our customers. Your day-to-day could include:

• Collecting stock from our warehouse in Pinkenba or our local suppliers and transporting it to site.
• Roof preparation and maintenance.
• Installation of on-site components, including panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, roof racking, and conduits.
• Work alongside our electricians to ensure proper wiring and electrical connections of solar panels.
• System commissioning and quality inspections to confirm the integrity and functionality of the installed system.
• Provide friendly and professional engagement with customers throughout the installation, particularly with support to set up their system and help them understand how to use it.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area with proper disposal of waste materials.
