What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and keen to develop a long-term career in the conveyor industry, with the right attitude to learn and progress into a skilled trade. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A strong commitment to safety and a safety-first mindset
- A current and valid driver’s licence
- Previous proven experience as a Trade Assistant, Dogger or Rigger, preferably within a related industry such as manufacturing or mining
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Sound communication and numeracy skills
- The ability and flexibility to work on-call and overtime
- A willingness to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and National Police Check
- Ideally, one or more of the following qualifications/tickets, i.e. Forklift Licence, Working at Heights, Dogging, Basic Rigging, Confined Space
About the Role
Due to our continued growth and success, we are seeking motivated self-starters to join our Gladstone branch as Trade Assistants.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills and progress your career within the conveyor industry. You’ll work alongside our trade-qualified technicians, gaining hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, repair and assembly of conveyor components and systems.
For those looking to take the next step, you’ll also have the opportunity to progress into a career as a Conveyor Technician – Mechanical or Splicing.
Belt Splicing Traineeship Opportunity If you choose to pursue a career in belt splicing, you may have the opportunity to participate in our Belt Splicing Traineeship Program. You’ll receive:
- A fully company-funded Certificate III in Polymer Processing
- A nationally recognised belt splicing qualification
- Practical, hands-on training at our dedicated training facility
- A permanent full-time position while you learn
