We’re looking for 2 Trades Assistants who are eager to roll up their sleeves and keep fabrication running smoothly. This role puts you right in the action—supporting skilled tradespeople, tackling hands-on tasks, and learning the ropes of a dynamic workshop environment. Your opportunity

Step into a hands on role where you’ll support skilled tradespeople, learn fabrication processes, and keep operations running smoothly. As a Trade Assistant, you’ll gain exposure to tools, job ticketing, and quality control while building strong relationships across the team and with external partners. This is your chance to grow practical skills, contribute to safe and efficient workflows, and kick start a career in a supportive, high performing environment.

• Assist workshop and tradespeople with day-to-day equipment service work.
• Operate small tools and equipment as needed, ensuring safe and proper storage.
• Perform basic fabrication activities, as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and equipment.
• Undertake general duties, participate in training, and ensure compliance with WHSE policies.

What you’ll bring

You’re hands‑on, safety‑minded, and eager to learn. With a knack for welding, fabrication, and mechanical tasks, you bring attention to detail and a strong work ethic to every job. You’re comfortable navigating ERP systems, job ticketing, and quality control processes, and you thrive on building positive relationships with teammates and external partners. Most importantly, you’re motivated to grow your skills and contribute to a supportive, high‑performing workshop environment.

• Experience in assisting skilled or tradespeople.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence. Advantageous
• Confined space certificate. Beneficial
• Working at heights certificate. Preferred
