Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Track & Trace Representative to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring active shipments, communicating with drivers and brokers, and ensuring timely delivery updates throughout the transportation process.

Position Responsibilities
• Heavy carrier interaction and communication daily via phone and/or email
• Obtain basic knowledge of operational reporting for accounts
• Maintain high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
• Monitor loads for exception and manage exceptions to closure
• Tracks/traces orders using TMS and Online Tracking Websites
• Communicates any discrepancies found during track/trace to account owner
• Performs clerical work as required, including: answering phone calls, operating various office machines and computers, sorting, & filing
• Training of carriers on use of Covenant Logistics web tools
• Other Tasks as assigned by management

Workingconditions

  • Working schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm EST

  • Office or Remote mode of work

Requirements

Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
• Success in tactical roles
• Good multi-tasking skills, ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Maintains effective working relationships with peer departments, service providers and customers
• Solid experience and knowledge of TMS, Excel, Access, and Word
