Job Summary

This role ensures the seamless operation and optimization of enterprise Linux environments, leveraging advanced expertise in RedHat technologies to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement. The position empowers teams through technical leadership, oversees adherence to client SLAs, and implements innovative solutions that enhance operational excellence and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead RedHat Linux and RedHat Satellite operations by architecting, optimizing, and automating system administration processes to ensure maximum uptime and performance in large-scale environments.
2. Oversee RedHat Cluster management by implementing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
3. Drive root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for critical incidents using RedHat Linux tools, proactively identifying and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
4. Mentor and guide operations teams by providing expert knowledge in RedHat Satellite patch management, configuration automation, and compliance enforcement.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business SLAs and operational goals.
6. Implement continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging RedHat technologies and integrating best practices for operational efficiency and security.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for RedHat Linux and Satellite environments, supporting audit and compliance activities.
8. Champion innovation by introducing process enhancements and automation opportunities leveraging RedHat and open-source toolsets.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Skills In Redhat Satellite For LargeScale Patch Management, Provisioning, And Configuration Automation.
2. Advanced Experience With Redhat Cluster Deployment, Failover Configuration, And Troubleshooting.
3. Strong Knowledge Of ItilBased Operations Management And Incident/Problem Management Best Practices.
4. Excellent ProblemSolving And Analytical Skills For Resolving Complex Technical Issues In Enterprise Environments.
5. Solid Understanding Of Automation Tools Such As Ansible In Redhat Ecosystems.
6. Excellent Communication And Mentoring Abilities To Lead Operational Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) � optional but highly valuable.
