Job Summary

Seeking an experienced L3 InterSystems IRIS/Ensemble DBA to manage and support mission-critical healthcare and enterprise integration platforms. The role focuses on database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, production support, and interoperability platform management.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain InterSystems IRIS, Ensemble, and Caché environments.  Perform installation, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and database optimization.  Manage HA/DR solutions, including mirroring, failover, and disaster recovery testing.  Provide L3 support for critical incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance issues.  Support interoperability components and troubleshoot HL7, FHIR, SOAP, REST, and TCP/IP integrations.  Ensure database security, access control, compliance, and audit requirements.  Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams for production support and releases.

Skill Requirements

Hands-on experience with InterSystems IRIS, Ensemble, and/or Caché Administration.  Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, mirroring, HA/DR, and performance tuning.  Experience with Linux/Windows administration and SQL optimization.  Understanding of IRIS architecture, namespaces, globals, routines, and interoperability framework.  Experience with scripting and automation (Shell, PowerShell, Python).  Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident, problem, and change management.
