Job Summary

Storage administration and engineering in a large 24x7 environment operating within the realms of Agile and ITIL processesrn• Closely communicate with both IT and business partners to design and implement solutions supporting business needsrn• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical environments on distributed applications and infrastructurern• Ensure procedures are followed and mechanisms are in place to ensure compliance to technical designs, best practices, and are well supportedrn• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation pointrn• Maintain lifecycle of all storage assets including capacity planning and performance management.rn• Support audit, compliance, risk assessment, security and other business needsrn• Write documentation and proceduresrn• Ensure knowledge sharing and skill development in the teamrn• Deliver team’s vision, roadmap and strategy consistent with GTE needsrn• Continuous improvement using DevOps skills to streamline/transform manual processesrn• Work in shifts, flexible to work outside office hoursrn

Installation and setup of NetApp ONTAP clustersrn• Management of Broadcom/Cisco IC switchesrn• Provisioning and administration of CIFS and NFS file accessrn• Management of ONTAP data protection featuresrn• ONTAP/Firmware upgradern• Performance monitoring of NetApp ONTAP clustersrn• Troubleshooting in complex NetApp NAS environmentrn• Configuration of Scality replication and erasure codingrn• Management of Scality RINGrn• Support for S3 protocol for object accessrn• Non-disruptive RING upgradern• Administration of Pure Storagern• Purity OS upgradern
