ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a TPS Production Integrator Engineer at KSC, FL.
The Production Integrator plays a critical role in the program by the leading the tactical execution team on the floor, known as the Vehicle Integration Team. The Production Integrator is an independent and capable Engineer that can lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the assembly process of their assigned VIT.
Specific Job Duties:
• This position is supporting the Thermal Protection System VIT Team at KSC for ATLO Orion
• This is primarily a 1st shift position but can require occasional support on alternate shifts
• Raise awareness for schedule impacts
• Work cross-functionally with all areas of the program to support integration of vehicle assembly
• Schedule vehicle assembly with evolving priorities
• Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues that arise during integration efforts
• Document issues and work to resolve them with applicable stakeholders
• Maintain a lessons learned database
Requirements
• ABET Accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree, related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education and/or Project/Program management experience.
Required Skills:
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Must be able to understand engineering specifications
• Must be able to understand work instructions
• Must be able to understand test requirements
• Advanced experience in Microsoft suit tools
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen,

Desired Skills:

• Thermal Protection System Experience
• Excellent communications skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of 6 sigma processes
• Self starter
• Knowledge in aerospace processes
• Experience in Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 1 year of Orion experience
