Together, we manage Comcast’s Town Hall and the Ralph J. Roberts Forum, often referred to as the ‘heart and soul of campus.’ Town Hall includes conference room space, collaborative lounge spaces, an employee TechBar, Coffee Bar, and Comcast NBCUniversal’s marquee event space, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum.
Named after Comcast’s founder, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum is a two floor, 500-seat amphitheater located in the heart of the Comcast Technology Center. With 56,000 square-feet of production space, full broadcast capabilities, and its Dolby Vision + Atmos cinema system, there is no other place like the Forum. Our team’s purpose is to activate this space and produce transformational experiences that engage, inspire, and connect.

The Production Manager plays a key role in shaping our programs by contributing to event development and supporting the execution of produced programs. These events may be hybrid, in-person, or fully virtual. The Production Manager reports to the Director of Production and collaborates closely with creative, administrative, and technical teams to ensure every element of a production meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Core Responsibilities
Participate in client meetings and calls to provide production guidance and ensure event expectations are clearly defined and met
Collaborate closely with the Director of Production, Production Managers, and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in methods, systems, and best practices
Review all show assets to confirm quality standards are met and materials are production-ready
Proactively communicate missing assets, open questions, risks, or concerns in a timely manner
Provide creative input that helps shape event execution and improves departmental workflows
Consult with Conference Services and AV Operations as required to support event needs
Actively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Develop new protocols and elevate existing workflows and operational standards
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Oversee assigned production vendor roles and functional areas
Support the growth and strengthening of vendor relationships
Coordination & Event Execution
Participate in client calls and planning meetings leading up to events, as needed
Ensure events are appropriately staffed with employees, vendors, and contractors
Develop and manage production schedules, call sheets, and run-of-show documents
Clearly communicate production requirements across all departments within established timelines
Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure events execute according to design and creative intent
Track pre-production timelines to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met
Lead and host production meetings, cue-to-cue sessions, and technical rehearsals
Contribute creative and operational input to enhance event execution and team processes
