About the role

As the Competitive Play Coordinator - South West, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and delivery of tournaments and competitions across South Australia. Working closely with the Competitive Play Lead - South West and broader Competitive Play team, you'll help deliver high-quality competitive opportunities that enhance the player experience and support the growth of tennis throughout the region.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery and administration of Tennis SA competitions, leagues and match play programs using League Manager and Match Centre platforms.
  • Coordinating and supporting Tennis Australia endorsed tournaments, including event administration, tournament delivery and tournament director support.
  • Managing key competition activities for Southern Districts Tennis Association, including grading, fixtures, draws and stakeholder support.
  • Assisting with the delivery of major Tennis SA events including Foundation Cup, Les Tapp, City v Country and State League Grand Finals.
  • Coordinating Tennis SA's Ball Kids programs, including recruitment, training, event operations and stakeholder engagement with Tennis Australia.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clubs, volunteers, committees and key stakeholders.
  • Be confident using databases, technology platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and show initiative when identifying solutions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Bring a passion for tennis and sport, with knowledge of competition delivery and the broader sporting industry considered highly desirable.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Be prepared to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements associated with Tennis SA events and programs.
