About the role
Reporting to the Tournament Space Design Manager, as the Tournament Space Creative Design Lead willbe responsible forthe creative and design direction and design delivery for AO27player and tournament spaces. You will innovate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create customer-centric solutions and world class branded environments.

  • Lead the strategic, concept and spatial design of player spaces, delivering on the Player Performance Environmentsroadmap and overall creative vision
  • Develop and evolve the design approach, including design language, guidelines, contentstrategyand functional designof spaces including,impactful entry experiences, restaurants, lounges, broadcast ready spaces right through to high performance gyms,wellnessand recovery spaces
  • Concept and deliver both permanent and one-off spaces with a strong creative and cultural vision, bringing cohesive branded experiences to life
  • Integrate storytelling across tournament spaces, aligned with precinct themes, content pillars and brand narratives
  • Partner with AO Ops and cross-functional teams (Brand, Broadcast, PR, Marketing Partnerships) to drive a program of ideation,creativityand innovation
  • Embed sustainability, circular and systems thinking across all design outcomes
  • Prepare and present concepts to stakeholders
  • Align and coordinate with our delivery and build partners to bring your vision to life

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Proven experience in interior, event/activationor exhibition design, with end-to-end project delivery
  • Strong customer insight, collaboration, criticalthinkingand stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication, with the ability to influence
  • Deep knowledge of design, architecture,cultureand live experiences, with the ability to translate trends into spatial design
  • ProficiencyinRevit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of construction and temporary builds
  • Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
