Tourism Sarnia-Lambton is the Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for Lambton County welcoming visitors from all over the world. We are proudly supported by the Corporation of The County of Lambton and its tourism industry partners. It is our vision to foster a spirit of partnerships within Sarnia-Lambton to enhance tourism through programs, ideas and initiatives that will grow the tourism industry resulting in a greater economic impact for municipalities within the Sarnia-Lambton area.
Use area knowledge to attract and welcome visitors to Lambton County. Answer all inquiries by phone, in-person and by email to promote all the events and activities, and places to stay in Lambton County. Attend functions and events, statistical collection, distribute and promote tourism materials. Perform administrative tasks and database input. Working closely with Social Media Coordinator to create engaging content for organization’s social media presence, including generating blog posts, photo & video content. Develop accurate reports as required.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education preferred with studies in Marketing, Graphics, Photography, or Tourism. Post-secondary courses preferred in Advertising, Creative Writing, and Communications.
Proficiency in Office, Adobe Creative Suite and/or strong writing skills with experience blogging and web writing. Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required. Valid Ontario Driver’s License. Access to a vehicle with insurance.
