Tour Narrator – Nashville Riverboats

Manthey Hospitality | Nashville, TN | Part-Time & Full-Time

Do you love Nashville, history, storytelling, and meeting new people? Nashville Riverboats is looking for an outgoing and engaging Tour Narrator to help bring the Cumberland River and Nashville’s history to life for our guests.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk kind of job. Our Tour Narrators are part storyteller, part entertainer, and part Nashville ambassador. You’ll interact with guests from around the world, share interesting stories and local history, and help create a fun and memorable experience aboard our riverboats.

What You’ll Do

• Narrate sightseeing cruises using established tour content and talking points
• Share Nashville and Cumberland River history in an engaging, entertaining way
• Welcome guests and create a friendly, hospitable atmosphere
• Speak comfortably and confidently to groups of varying sizes
• Adjust your delivery and energy based on the audience while maintaining accurate tour content
• Answer general guest questions and provide excellent customer service
• Work closely with the marine, hospitality, and guest-service teams
• Maintain a professional presence throughout each cruise

What We’re Looking For

• Confident, outgoing personality with strong public-speaking skills
• Natural storyteller who can keep an audience engaged
• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Able to learn and retain tour scripts, historical information, and talking points
• Comfortable speaking on a microphone for extended periods
• Able to think on your feet and adapt when needed
• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, theater, public speaking, education, entertainment, or customer service is a plus
• Knowledge of Nashville history is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
