Job Description

At ID Logistics, our people are at the center of everything we do. We are seeking a Total Rewards & Communications Specialist to support employee engagement, communications, benefits administration, compensation programs, and leave management across our growing organization.

This unique role offers the opportunity to blend creativity and analytical thinking, with approximately 50% of the position focused on employee communications and engagement initiatives and 50% dedicated to Total Rewards administration, including benefits, leave management, and compensation support.

Work Location: We are open to hiring fully remote for this role. However, preference is given to any candidates near one of our operations sites or in Scranton, PA. If located near one of our sites this would be a hybrid work arrangement.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm

Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $65,000 - $68,000 plus a performance-based bonus

What You'll Do

Employee Communications & Engagement (50%)

As the voice behind employee communications, you will help keep our workforce informed, connected, and engaged by:

  • Developing, maintaining, and publishing employee communications through multiple channels, including email campaigns, digital signage, newsletters, and intranet content.
  • Coordinating new hire announcements, promotion announcements, and employee recognition communications.
  • Managing communication calendars and ensuring timely delivery of employee-facing content.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and participation in platforms such as MyID.
  • Partnering with HR, Operations, and Corporate teams to promote company initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
  • Ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and employee experience across all communication channels.
  • Creating employee resources, presentations, job aids, FAQs, flyers, and other communication materials.

Total Rewards Administration (50%)

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and leave programs.
  • Support administration of FMLA, ADA accommodations, personal leaves, short-term disability, and return-to-work processes.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve employee benefit and leave-related matters.

Compensation Support

  • Maintain compensation matrices and wage schedules.
  • Support market pricing and compensation benchmarking activities.
  • Assist with compensation analyses, job evaluations, pay recommendations, and annual compensation programs.
  • Prepare reports and maintain compensation-related records and documentation.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records related to benefits, compensation, and leave administration.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to support business decisions.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus relevant work experience.
  • 3+years of experience in Human Resources, Total Rewards, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Employee Communications, or a related area.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Some working experience working with artificial intelligence (AI) to automate processes and communications.
  • Experience developing employee communications and engagement materials.
  • Experience supporting benefits administration and compensation programs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Knowledge of leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, disability, and return-to-work processes.
