The Global Total Rewards and HR Operations teams are responsible for Sphera providing its colleagues with competitive rewards and HR tools and services. As a part of this team, the Total Rewards Specialist is a key utility player to the technology-driven team. This role will be responsible for aiding in Total Rewards support across various functions. The incumbent will be technically savvy and not afraid to bring their problem-solving skills to complex scenarios.

A Day in the Life of the Total Rewards Specialist:

Global Benefits & Mobility

  • Provide day-to-day frontline and escalated support for global benefit needs and administration.
  • Administer leave of absence programs and policies, acting as main point of contact for employees on leave.
  • Communicate with in-country consultants, brokers and carriers to support plan maintenance and colleague requests.
  • Provide administrative support for Sphera’s global mobility and immigration program including day-to-day assistance and partnership with business leaders, HR business partners and immigration counsel.
  • Process and reconcile invoices for various benefit carriers.
  • Liaise with HR team to streamline processes and be a key resource on benefits and mobility matters.


Compensation

  • Support annual compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and talent assessment.
  • Complete global market practice surveys and country compliance surveys.
  • Support pay equity analysis and compensation compliance initiatives (i.e. pay transparency).
  • Ensure compensation programs align with company policies and applicable regulations.

HRIS / Workday Administration

  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and partner with internal stakeholders to resolve system-related concerns.
  • Support Workday business processes, security roles, and reporting.
  • Monitor HR data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities.
  • Document HRIS procedures, workflows, and user guides.

Qualifications – About You:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related professional experience within Total Rewards functions.
  • Understanding of global benefit frameworks and benefits interfaces from North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
  • Understanding of immigration processes and procedures; experience with US mobility and immigration highly preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of compensation methodologies and structures preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with tier 1 enterprise HR systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ex. pivot tables, v-lookups, complex formulas, etc.)
  • Crisp, confident communication and presentation skills with colleagues at all levels.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to create and maintain process flow between key stakeholders and systems.
  • Ability to provide flexible employee support in various time zones.
