Summary
- Manages the organization's Total Rewards function, including compensation, benefits, and payroll, while overseeing HRIS, reporting, and employee records administration. Provides oversight for the administration of Total Rewards programs, HR systems, and related processes to ensure operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Provides oversight and direction to staff including hiring; communicating expectations; planning, monitoring and evaluating performance; coaching, counseling, and developing employees; recommending compensation actions; and coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Compensation
- Manages the administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and related initiatives.
- Conducts market pricing, compensation analysis, and job evaluations to support competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Oversees the organization's job architecture, including job descriptions, classifications, and salary grades.
- Provides guidance regarding compensation practices, pay decisions, and job design.
- Supports annual compensation planning and review activities.
Benefits Administration
- Manages the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefit offerings.
- Ensures effective delivery of benefit programs through vendor management, employee communications, and annual enrollment activities.
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, reporting requirements, and filings.
Payroll Administration
- Oversees payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
- Reviews payroll controls, audits, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
- Resolves complex payroll issues and supports continuous process improvement.
HR Systems, Administration & Compliance
- Ensures the integrity, security, and accuracy of employee data and HR records.
- Supports internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance with applicable employment, payroll, and benefits requirements.
- Oversees HR systems and analytics, vendor relationships, and process improvement initiatives.
- Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the organization and its members.

QualificationsEducation/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to compensation, benefits, and payroll.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience administering HRIS platforms.
- Experience managing vendors, consultants, and third-party service providers.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, CEBS, CPP or related certification preferred
