Discover Your Purpose: Role Summary

As the Total Rewards Manager for Central America, you will report directly to the Director, Total Rewards Latin America and drive the strategic design, localization, and execution of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs across the region. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our total rewards portfolios remain market-competitive, highly adaptable to macroeconomic shifts, and fully aligned with corporate governance. By partnering closely with regional leadership and cross-functional HR teams, you will champion initiatives that attract, engage, and retain top talent, directly contributing to a high-performance culture.

Your Impact: Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Design Localization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of regional compensation and benefit programs to support evolving business priorities and maximize talent retention across Central America.
  • Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee internal governance, regional compliance, global job grading structures, and statutory calculations—including salary leaving indemnities—ensuring mitigation of legal and financial risks.
  • Vendor & Benefits Management: Manage strategic relationships and performance benchmarks with external vendors, including health and life insurance providers, third-party technology platforms, and local portal administration.
  • Compensation Architecture & Mobility: Evaluate and direct approval workflows for compensation matrices, organizational structural adjustments, and international mobility actions such as visas, home leaves, and short-term assignments.
  • Global Initiative Integration: Partner with global Total Rewards centers of excellence to seamlessly deploy corporate initiatives locally, translating global frameworks into impactful, culturally aligned regional programs.

Skills That Make Us Smile: Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • +5 years of professional experience working within Human Resources and/or dedicated Compensation and Benefits environments.
  • Advanced English level.

Brighten Your Potential: Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MBA), or an advanced specialization in Human Resources or Finance.
  • Proven experience in people leadership, demonstrating an ability to coach, guide, and develop professional team members.
  • Practical experience utilizing SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in data-driven software, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with a proven ability to execute complex formula modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced functional expertise in market benchmarking methodologies, compensation structure design, and variable incentive plans.
