Job Description

Basic Job Functions:

Provides day-to-day support for Total Rewards programs, including Compensation and Benefits. Works closely with Compensation and Benefits Analysts to perform accurate data entry, audits, and departmental projects. Collaborates with Total Rewards leadership, HR, Payroll, and external vendors to support the timely and compliant delivery of Total Rewards programs.

Education/Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, or a related administrative role is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a closely related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to track, follow up on, and resolve outstanding items or data discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Comfort performing system transactions and audits in HRIS system.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Compensation & Job Data Support
    • Maintains compensation trackers, audit logs, and supporting documentation.
    • Supports job data maintenance and job description administration.
    • Assists with annual compensation processes, including merit and incentive cycles.
    • Assists with the preparation of award letters
  • Benefits Administration Support
    • Provides day-to-day support for benefits programs, including enrollments, life events, eligibility updates, backup care submissions and employee data maintenance.
    • Supports onboarding and new hire orientation activities related to Total Rewards programs.
    • Assists with Open Enrollment preparation and execution, including system testing, communications, and event support.
    • Responds to routine benefit inquiries and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
    • Assists with the development and distribution of benefits related to communications and reports.
    • Supports validation of eligibility files to ensure accurate enrollment and data integrity.
    • Supports onsite and virtual Benefits and Wellness events, including health screenings, wellness fairs and vendor visits
  • General Total Rewards Support
    • Supports compliance audits,
    • Identifies opportunities to improve Total Rewards processes and system efficiency.
    • Assists with policy interpretation related to compensation and benefits.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Sr Manager, Global Compensation and NA Benefits

Travel:

  • No regular travel required outside the First Solar work site.

Estimated Salary Range:

  • $23.37-$32.69 / hourly
