Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $104k- $130k, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $104k-157k. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 15% Bonus Target.
Employment Logistics:
The Total Rewards Consultant is responsible for managing and supporting compensation programs across OnTrac. This role plays a key part in driving market analysis, job classification, compensation program design, and rewards strategy, ensuring the company’s compensation structure remains competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals.
This position offers the opportunity to directly influence OnTrac’s Total Rewards strategy and partner with senior leadership to shape the future of compensation, recognition, and organizational design.

The Must-Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar relevant exprience
• 7+ years of experience in compensation or HR, with strong knowledge of compensation principles, market analysis, and job classification
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with updating and configuring compensation management tools and software
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred

Your Mission in Motion:
A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
• Market analysis & job architecture: Conduct regular market pay analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure compensation remains competitive; develop and maintain job descriptions, manage job classification, and recommend appropriate job levels and salary ranges.
• Compensation program design & rewards: Lead the design and implementation of compensation programs including base salary, bonuses, incentive plans, and equity programs, and contribute to reward and recognition programs that enhance engagement and retention.
• Internal consulting & organizational competitiveness: Serve as an internal consultant to HR and business leaders on compensation-related matters, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational needs; consult with senior leadership on organizational design and changes needed to improve competitiveness.
• Compensation insights & leadership reporting: Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and develop compensation-related reporting and analysis to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Compliance, policy improvement & cross-functional support: Assist in ensuring compensation practices comply with legal regulations and internal policies, recommend policy improvements as needed, and support cross-functional projects related to organizational change.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
