About the role

The ToroToroAssistant General Managerensures our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, while managing,developingand supporting their team, as well as controlling labor and other expenses.

What you will do

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure thatestablishedcultural and core service standards are met.

  • The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.

  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting,purchasingdecisions, and inventory and cash control.

  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.

What you bring

An ideal candidate will have a high school or college education or equivalent experience. Minimum two years related food and beverage experience in high volume, upscale setting. Thorough knowledge of luxury service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, menu writing, maintenance,merchandisingand accounting

  • This is a full-time position
