About the team
The Creator Operations team drives the growth and monetization of TikTok Shop’s creator ecosystem in Malaysia. Within the team, the Top Creator function builds long-term partnerships with leading creators and translates platform priorities into creator-specific growth plans, campaigns, content initiatives, and commercial opportunities.

This role sits at the intersection of creator partnership, business strategy, and operational leadership. The successful candidate should combine strong relationship management with strategic and commercial thinking, as well as the creativity and ownership to translate insights into impactful creator programs.
Responsibilities
Top Creator Growth and Relationship Management
- Lead the Top Creator function and team, with end-to-end responsibility for the management and growth of a portfolio of top creators across content, live streaming, campaigns, monetization, and long-term development.
- Build trusted relationships with creators, talent managers, and MCNs through regular business reviews and timely support on key opportunities and challenges.
- Develop a deep understanding of each creator’s business priorities and working style, balancing creator needs with platform objectives to strengthen their long-term partnership with TikTok Shop.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and other relevant teams, bringing frontline creator insights into strategy discussions and translating broader priorities into actionable plans.
Commercial Growth and Campaign Execution
- Translate platform, category, and campaign priorities into practical plans for top creators, ensuring strong participation and high-quality execution.
- Drive effective matchmaking among creators, products, brands, and campaign opportunities across live streaming and short-form video.
- Mobilize top creators during mega sale campaigns and BAU moments, closely managing readiness, content quality, performance, and post-campaign follow-up.
- Use data and frontline insights to improve creator tiering, incentive approaches, operating playbooks, and overall portfolio efficiency.
Creator IP and Creative Program Development
- Lead the development and execution of the Top Creator IP program starting in Q3, covering creator selection, content concepts, commercial partnerships, execution planning, and performance review with team.
- Develop creative and locally relevant creator initiatives that strengthen creator identity, audience engagement, and commercial impact.
- Work hands-on with creators and internal teams to turn early-stage ideas into clear execution plans and high-quality deliverables.
- Test new formats and operating approaches, scaling successful initiatives into repeatable creator programs and playbooks.
