Job Description

Overview

Apogee Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Tools & Techniques Systems Administrator to provide expert-level systems administration for T2 environments, including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, containers, and cybersecurity compliance.

****Contingent Upon Contract Award****

Responsibilities

  • Administer Linux (Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server systems.
  • Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi and virtual machine deployment.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes) in offline/air-gapped environments.
  • Apply STIGs, run ACAS vulnerability scans, manage offline antivirus (e.g., ClamAV), and resolve network access issues.
  • Maintain lab infrastructure (GPU-heavy servers, NAS, Network UPS Tools).

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: TS/SCIEducation / Years of Experience:

  • System administration certification(s)
  • 5 - 8 years experience with DoW or similar programs.
  • Experience with air-gapped or classified networks.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity tools and processes.
