Arcosa Wind Towers is now hiring a Toolroom Attendant. As the Toolroom Attendant you must be familiar with tools and consumables. Can hand out and receive both tools and parts. Knowledgeable in repairing tools. Ability to order consumables and tools and to maintain a log of distribution.

Job Location: Belen, NM

What you’ll do:

• Locate and distribute tools as requested.
• Clean tools and equipment on return.
• Perform local delivery.
• Learn parts inventory system.
• Maintain spreadsheet of daily inventory usage.
• Alert purchasing once inventory reaches minimum level.
• Distribute tools, parts and consumables.
• Order consumables, tools and parts and maintain a log of distribution.
• Follow rules and practices of work safety.
• May be involved in safety committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned,
• May be required to operate forklift and local delivery vehicle.

What you’ll need:

• Experience: 1 Year
• Certifications: None
• Technical Skills: The ability to operate computer system at appropriate level
• Read, write and speak proficiently in English
• Organized

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

Safety Activities:

• Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
