Job Description

Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, this role is a part of the maintenance team for analysing specifications to assemble parts to make, and repair dies with the use of machining and power tools. This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours at our busy Glass plant in Penrith.

What you will do:

  • Reading of blueprints and drawing specifications
  • Making parts to modify or repair mould gear.
  • Machine operation of machining, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Quality assurance on completed works.
  • Check and maintain stock levels of materials required.
  • Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety policies, and procedures.

What you will bring:

  • Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner
  • Min. 3-4 years’ experience or qualified 1st Class Machinist/Fitter
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great work ethic
