The Whirlpool Findlay Manufacturing organization is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, Engineering. This role will be located onsite at our Findlay, OH manufacturing plant. In this position, you will:
Drive Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Engagement throughout the entire plant
Coach peers through the execution of World Class Manufacturing principles
Develop short-term and long-term plans and programs to improve productivity and capacity and prepare the necessary budgets and justifications for these projects
Drive continuous improvement in the organizational, technical, and business information processes/systems through lean/innovative thinking and ideas
Drive projects to ensure availability of production equipment
Identify and implement productivity projects within the maintenance and tooling department
Coordinate cross functionally to ensure internal and external rules and regulations are followed
Implement lean initiatives related to Standardized Work, Quality, and 5S
Communicate and escalate pertinent issues across numerous shifts
Develop and implement capital spending plans based on pertinent risk to the business.
Facilitate both internal and external projects on top of daily activities to meet project deadlines
Manage external contractors as needed for breakdown repairs and project work
Close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager on transitioning from breakdown maintenance to proactive maintenance for equipment throughout the plant
Facilitate departmental training
Perform additional duties and assignments that may be required by management from time to time
Flexibility to change shifts or departments as required to meet the operational needs
Bachelor of Science Degree In Engineering Field
1+ years of Leadership experience in manufacturing
SAP experience (Plant Maintenance Module)
WCM (World Class Manufacturing) Experience (EWO, SMP, KPI, MTTR, MTBF)
Effective Management Of Priorities, Expectations, and Accountability
Capital Project Management
OPEX Black Belt Certification
