Wage: $26.26 - $36.41 per hour

Flexible Shift Schedule: This position is primarily assigned to the day shift but requires flexibility to provide off-shift, weekend, and occasional holiday support as operational needs dictate. The role will support production across multiple shifts, including troubleshooting, maintenance activities, continuous improvement efforts, and critical issue resolution outside of standard business hours

What you will be doing

Position Summary:

The Tooling & Production Support Technician provides skilled technical support to the

Tool Room and production operations. This position is responsible for maintaining,

repairing, modifying, and preparing production tooling while providing hands-on

troubleshooting and technical assistance to manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, modify, and prepare production tooling, fixtures, and

related components.

  • Troubleshoot tooling and production-equipment issues and assist with identifying

root causes and corrective actions.

  • Support machine setup, tooling adjustments, and production start-ups.
  • Perform manual machining as needed, including operation of mills, lathes,

surface grinders, saws, and other Tool Room equipment.

  • Perform welding and fabrication activities associated with tooling repairs,

modifications, and production support.

  • Work directly with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve

tooling-related issues affecting safety, quality, output, or equipment reliability.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to tooling to improve safety, quality,

reliability, and efficiency

What will make you successful?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and relevant

manufacturing experience.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, Tool Room, machining, tooling, fabrication, or

similar industrial environment.

  • Working knowledge of tooling and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting

and repairs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certification in machining, welding, fabrication, metallurgy,

industrial maintenance, or a related field.

  • Manual mill, lathe, and surface-grinder experience.
  • Welding and metal-fabrication experience
