Your Job

As a Tooling Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving tooling excellence to support customer needs and strengthen our competitive advantage. You will partner cross-functionally to develop high-quality mold solutions that improve product performance, accelerate time-to-market, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

Our Team

You will be part of a collaborative engineering team working closely with RFQ, design, manufacturing, and global partners within PMC. The team focuses on delivering innovative tooling solutions while continuously improving performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with the RFQ team to deliver accurate tooling estimates (cycle time, tonnage, scrap rate) to support competitive quotations
  • Develop DFM reports to proactively identify and mitigate tooling and product risks
  • Design molds using UG NX to meet product and manufacturing requirements
  • Lead tooling design reviews to reduce risk across manufacturing, trial runs, debugging, and mass production
  • Drive tooling project execution, including progress control, validation, qualification, and transfer to production
  • Lead tooling repair and improvement activities to ensure stable and efficient production performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation initiatives, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and proactively identify and mitigate safety risks

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in tooling or mold design with demonstrated ability to deliver engineering solutions
  • Knowledge of mold design and injection molding processes
  • Experience using CAD tools (e.g., UG NX) for tooling design
  • Ability to analyze technical challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with Moldflow or similar simulation tools
  • Project management experience in tooling or manufacturing environments
  • Experience developing high-cavitation, fast-cycle molds
  • Experience in medical or highly regulated industry environments
