A. Duties & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the manufacturing to said specification of all tooling components and ensuring the proper working of all new tooling in the most time effective manner.
2. Responsible for the fitting and repairs of new and existing tools
3. Responsible for regular maintenance of tools and shop equipment
4. Responsible for the manufacturing of any engineering changes requested by different departments on new and existing tooling
5. Responsible for the training of Tool Room Assistant/Technician/Apprentice team members.
6. Assist with 5S in the Tool Room Area.
7. Assist with complete preventative maintenance work on the tools.
8. Responsible for the applicable documentation of all repairs and changes.
9. Responsible for recording all worked hours and allocating them to the appropriate job number
10. All other duties as assigned by the Tool Room leadership.

B. Minimum Qualifications

1. Grade 12 education.
2. 4-year Mould Maker apprentice program or comparable trade certificate

C. Required Skills

1. Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment
2. Must have geometry and trigonometry understanding with basic math skills, English reading and writing.
3. Must have working knowledge of shop machining equipment.
4. Must have blue print reading skills
2. Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
3. Understanding of forms, tags and labels governing job function

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.
Wage: $36.88 - $46.99
