ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the technical aspect of international tool procurement including clarification feasibility issues together with development teams with regards to dies and molds.Member of industrialization teamPreliminary costing for quotation of tooling costsFeasibility of plastic parts from tool viewDetermination of appropriate manufacturing-/ tooling-conceptsConsulting of mechanical development in terms of technical feasibilityCreate tool specifications for inquiry activitiesCheck tool designs and -structures on accuracyProvide construction permit to tool suppliersTracking detailed timeline for tool-making and -optimization Prepare sampling for tool vendors (documents, materials)Check samples, together with developmentDefine, communicate and track changes and improvements in toolsRemoval of tools on site at the tool supplier
