Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a Direct Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will build, repair, and modify molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling using blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.

Pay: $35.50 - $37.50
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Build and repair molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, drills, saws, and measuring tools.
• Work with aluminum, tool steels, stainless steel, brass, copper, plastics, and phenolics.
• Complete machining processes including milling, drilling, grinding, heat treating, and EDM.
• Plan and complete projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Work with engineers on tooling changes and fixture builds.
• Maintain quality standards and eliminate non-conformance issues.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Tool & Die apprenticeship required.
• Journeyman’s Certificate preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely operate machinery and tools.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
• Exposure to noise, heat, dust, fumes, and machinery.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements throughout shift.
• Required PPE includes hearing and eye protection.
