Job Description

RK&K is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Toll Specialist II. As a member of our Tolling Department, the Toll Specialist II is expected to have thorough working knowledge of all aspects of tolling including planning, analysis, design, systems (roadside toll collection systems and back-office systems), tolling infrastructure, tolling policy and business rules, customer service center, operations, or other aspects of tolling.

Essential Functions:

• The Toll Specialist II will provide technical and operational support on projects within the tolling industry
• Prepare and/or perform technical review of toll systems, planning studies, engineering analyses, Concepts of Operations, and implementation plans
• Assist in the design and development of tolling concepts and reports including requirement analysis, technology review and selection, toll equipment specifications, and back-office communications and operating systems, and operations
• Support the tolling group with the development and review of system integration plans, testing procedures and commissioning documentation for toll systems
• Assist in the development of procurement documentation for tolling clients with respect to technical, functional, and operational specifications
• Help develop and implement key performance indicator (KPI) reporting tools for toll vendor contracts on various tolling projects

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 10 years’ technical and/or operational experience working with DOT’s and toll agencies
• Highly competent in both oral and written communications
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our company growth and success
• Demonstrated experience in toll infrastructure, roadside, back-office systems, customer service center operations, and system networks
