About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Toddler Teacher who loves helping little learners explore, discover, and grow?

The Learning Experience - Bristow is hiring a caring, energetic Toddler Teacher to create engaging learning experiences and support children through some of their most exciting developmental milestones.

We're looking for a dependable educator who understands toddler development, enjoys building strong relationships with families, and knows how to create a classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

From first friendships and growing independence to language development and hands-on exploration, you'll make a meaningful difference in children's lives every day.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for toddlers
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through play-based activities
• Support early language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, and hands-on exploration
• Encourage independence, communication, and positive peer interactions
• Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Use positive behavior guidance and maintain consistent classroom routines
• Observe and document children's developmental progress
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a positive classroom environment
• Maintain active supervision and a safe, clean, organized classroom
• Follow Virginia childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare, daycare, or early childhood education setting required
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Experience managing classroom routines and supporting positive behavior
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable Virginia childcare licensing, background screening, and regulatory requirements
