About the Role:

The Learning Experience in Riverton, NJ is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join their team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans for toddler-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
• Communicate daily with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and activities
• Maintain accurate developmental records and observations for each student
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting
• Knowledge of child development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state licensing requirements
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
