Toddler Lead Teacher (Daycare/ Preschool / Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience – Oak Creek, WI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour

About the Role


The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our Toddler classroom. This position focuses on helping young learners strengthen communication skills, build independence, and transition confidently toward preschool readiness through structured routines and engaging activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a toddler classroom with consistency, warmth, and clear structure
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Support early language growth, movement skills, and social development
• Guide children through toileting routines, transitions, meals, and rest time
• Create an organized, welcoming classroom environment
• Track developmental progress and share updates with families
• Collaborate with assistant teachers to maintain strong classroom teamwork
• Follow Wisconsin licensing and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Previous toddler classroom experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• ECE coursework or credential preferred
• Lead Teacher qualification under Wisconsin licensing a plus
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices strongly preferred
