Toddler Assistant Teacher – The Learning Experience Franklin

Location: Franklin, MA
Pay: $21–$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Classroom: Toddlers (1.5–3 years)

The Learning Experience – Franklin is looking for a caring and dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher to support our energetic and curious toddler classrooms. Our toddlers learn through play, movement, and exploration in a nurturing, structured environment designed to build confidence, communication, and independence.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Lead Teacher in a toddler classroom with daily activities and routines
  
  
• Help create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  
  
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, naps, and playtime
  
  
• Engage children in music, movement, sensory play, and early language activities
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
  
  
• Communicate positively with families during daily drop-off and pick-up
  
  
• Follow all Massachusetts EEC health, safety, and licensing standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  
• Experience working with toddlers or young children in a daycare or preschool setting preferred
  
  
• EEC certification or CDA is a plus (not required)
  
  
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  
  
• CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  
  
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
