
The Orthopaedic Center is looking for highly motivated Physical Therapists for our Ardmore, Albertville, Athens, Florence, Guntersville, Hazel Green, Huntsville, Madison, Rogersville, and Scottsboro locations. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Physical Therapist will examine, plan and administer physical therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals. The Physical Therapist duties include but are not limited to interpreting the practitioner’s referrals and performs a complete patient evaluation. Developing a thorough treatment plan to include goals, reevaluation and discharge. Performing treatment program, making modifications when necessary, and ongoing assessment of patient’s response to treatment. Delegating and supervising support staff on appropriate portion of treatment plan, while being open to ideas and suggestions. Documenting timely and appropriately on the patient’s progress and treatment outcomes, in addition to patient/family education. Efficiently performs all duties related to the charging system and recording of individual productivity data. Designating or establishing written and/or oral communication with physician and other disciplines. Managing secondary responsibilities and assignments as assigned by supervisor. The Physical Therapist must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
Education Required: HS/GED. Must have a Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
License: Must have a current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama. Must be CPR certified.
