The Media & Entertainment Industry is seeking a Director to join our growing team.

What You Can Expect

Directors contribute to developing business opportunities in the marketplace and serve as leaders within our organization and the business community. They support client satisfaction by helping ensure that engagements are delivered according to Protiviti’s quality standards and meet client needs.

Directors build trusted relationships with clients, contribute expertise to engagements, and collaborate with other Protiviti leaders to identify opportunities and deliver value across the Media & Entertainment industry.

• Contribute to the development of sales opportunities and new work with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with other leaders to develop client strategies that support current projects and longer-term business objectives.
• Apply an understanding of business trends and technical advances to continually improve delivery, technical, and risk-management approaches.
• Identify opportunities through client interactions, thought leadership, proposal writing, and relationship development.
• Contribute to thought leadership materials and share insights with colleagues and professional networks.
• Promote Protiviti’s mission, vision, and values while encouraging collaboration across teams.
• Support project management and team leadership, creating meaningful development opportunities for team members and helping teams make an impact for clients and communities.

• In-depth understanding of the Media & Entertainment industry.
• A network of senior executives and industry contacts within Media & Entertainment.
• Understanding of business processes across the industry, including finance, supply chain, marketing, and operations.
• Knowledge of software technologies and best practices for leveraging technology to drive competitive advantage.
• Ability to network, build relationships, identify opportunities, and establish a sales pipeline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and executive-level decision-makers.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and workstreams across a diverse client portfolio.
• Experience with application architecture, including application deployment and design.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Knowledge of technology project risks and strategies for managing and mitigating them.
• Experience leading and supervising teams, including Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers, and Senior Managers.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Management Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, or another business- or technology-related field. A master’s degree in a technology-related field is preferred but not required.
• 20+ years working in professional services and/or within the Media & Entertainment sectors.
• Strong understanding of core IT process areas and associated risks, including security operations, data security, change management, data center operations, IT strategy and governance, and service management.
• Strong working knowledge of technology operations and processes, as well as specific experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud
• Data Governance
• Privacy
• Disaster Recovery

Location, Work Arrangement, Travel, and Employment Eligibility

It is expected that you will reside within a reasonable daily commute of your assigned Protiviti home office by your start date. Protiviti employees work in a hybrid environment, which means you may be required to work from a variety of locations, including your Protiviti home office, an in-town or out-of-town client site, and/or a remote location such as your residence. Reliable transportation is required.

Protiviti operates in a hybrid environment. Travel may occur throughout the month based on client requests and commitments, including travel to suburban, regional, or out-of-state locations.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$184,000.00 - $313,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$220,800.00 - $375,600.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
