Geode Health offers advanced treatment programs for depression across our practice locations. We are looking for a passionate TMS technician that is motivated by joining a quickly growing organization. The TMS technician is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. The TMS technician will be responsible for administering TMS treatment under the direction of our treating physician. The TMS Technician will also beproviding support to our clinical teamand patients during TMS treatment.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with physician, providers, and admin staff on patient care
Conducts TMS screenings todetermine patient has been qualifications as potential TMScandidate
Ability toidentify qualification requirementsfor TMSthrough screeningconsult
Delivers TMS treatment topatients
Performs equipment positioning for TMS treatmentsessions
Collect and processintake paperworkwithobtaining medical records asnecessary
Handling vital signs, such as weight, height, temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate
Participating in collaborating with our billing team toobtainprior authorizations andverify insurancebenefits
Managing dailytreatment and monitoring of multiple patients per day
Ability to objectively document TMS encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR)system
Provide regular updates on treatment progress and outcomes to referringproviders
Managing,monitoring, and tracking of treatment and medications
Operate TMS machine safely(as applicable)
Secures patient information andmaintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medicalrecords
Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professionalstandards
Maintains safe,secure and healthy work environment byestablishing and following standards and procedures andcomplying with legalregulations
Knowledge of emergency procedures andassist in crisissituations
Understanding ofGeode Healthpolicies and procedures
Maintain client HIPAA rights, and other protections of confidentiality andprivacy
Submit records to inquiring parties with documentation of proper release forms andmaterials
Ensure prompt,accurate, and efficient handling of documents for filing andscanning
Copy/scan/fax/email information asrequired
Assist with communication between clients andproviders
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by thesupervisor
Job Qualifications:
One year of patient care/mental health office setting preferred
TMS technician experienced (preferred)
Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression (preferred)
Excellent organizational skills
Strong ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting (preferred)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
Excellent computer skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates or bachelor’s degree
One year of working in healthcare/mental health care setting (preferred)
Required Licensure/Certifications
BLS Certification, can be completed afterhire
